Asphalt Sales Manager

Chad joined Coastal Energy in 2007, and currently serves as Asphalt Sales Manager. After graduating from Willow Springs High School in 2000, Chad attended Missouri State University - West Plains. He then transferred to College of the Ozarks to complete his degree in Agri-Business and Animal Science. 

Prior to joining Coastal Energy, Chad worked as the Ranch Manager for Crystal Creek Ranch, overseeing their operation and as a Feed Sales Rep for Hartville Feed. 

Chad and his wife, Tabby, have three boys - twins Adler and Eian, and Kyler. In addition to his work, Chad enjoys farming, hunting, and fishing.

Asphalt Sales

Shannon joined the Coastal Energy Asphalt Sales Team in 2022. After graduating from Taylorsville High School in 2003, Shannon attended JCJC in Ellisville, Mississippi. 

After graduation, Shannon worked as a surveyor for Mott MacDonald, specializing in plotting, mapping, and constructing routes and workspaces for the installation of natural gas pipelines. He has also worked in quality control for Leonardo DRS and as a Home Inspector in Chattanooga, TN

Shannon and his wife, Jessica, have 4 children ranging in age from 5 to 11 years old. When he is not attending one of his children's events, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his family. Shannon also enjoys carpentry and creating things out of wood. 

Asphalt Sales - OK, KS, TX

Alex joined Coastal Energy in 2021, and works in asphalt sales for Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. After attending college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, he stepped into the oil and gas industry, working as a petroleum landman for more than ten years. During that time, Alex worked as a Project Manager for Anevay Resources, and he was responsible for managing and overseeing all land operations including title abstracting, title curative, contract negotiations, land acquisition, lease provisions, title opinions, and operating agreements, before feeling called to take his skills to something new. 

Alex has two daughters, Ruby June and Jade. He and his family live in Edmond, Oklahoma. When he's not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Sales Consultant

Larry has been employed with Coastal Energy since 2003. He is currently the Plant Operations Manager at Coastal's Miller, Missouri, asphalt production facility. Larry has extensive experience in asphalt plant management, having worked in the industry since 1985.

He graduated from Dora High School in 1977 and then went to work for Koch Materials Company as a Plant Operator in Bettendorf, Iowa, and later as Assistant Manager in their Springfield, Missouri, facility before joining Coastal Energy as Assistant Plant Manager. 

​Thoroughly trained in all aspects of plant safety, Larry has over 30 years of experience in the HAZWOPER safety training course. He has also completed Basic Binder Technician Training and has over 40 years’ experience within the Asphalt and Emulsion industry. 

Larry and his wife, Lea Anne, have four children and  six grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids and hunting in his spare time.
