Gary has been with Coastal Energy since 2003, and currently serves in the Safety and Compliance department. After graduating from Crocker High School, Gary continued his education at College of the Ozarks. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agri-Business in 1996. Gary also became a licensed pilot in 1996.
Upon graduation, Gary went to work for Wake Feed and Fertilizer, with various duties including outside sales and office work plus both blending and making feed and fertilizer. He continued to work for Wake Feed and Fertilizer until 2003, when he joined Coastal Energy.
Gary is certified and trained in many aspects of safety and has completed the following programs: Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training, Stormwater Training, Hazardous Materials Training and Instructor Training, Physiological Training, CETP Training, PERC Training, FEMA Incident Command Training, and Supervisor Training for Effects of Drugs and Alcohol. The Railroad Commission of Texas has also trained him as a Certified Manager. Gary was honored to be a presenter at the 2009 TRANSCAER (Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response) Training Session of Ethanol Safety.
In addition to his work, Gary enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on the farm. He and his wife, Kathy, have been married over 25 years and have 2 children, Rebecca and Wesley. Gary and Kathy attend Westside Family Life Center where Gary enjoys spending time with the Men’s Promise Keepers group and is a supporter of the Roever Foundation for Wounded Warriors.

James joined Coastal Energy in 2014 and is responsible for training and assisting drivers with essential safety-sensitive functions and duties. He was born in Phoenix but raised in Missouri, attending Koshkonong High School and South Central Career Center in West Plains, MO. James has worked in a variety of fields, including as a Rock Climbing Instructor and Emergency Dispatcher. He is certified in Advanced Emergency Dispatch and Hazardous Materials Management and is a DOT Drug and Alcohol Technician.
James has one daughter, Lyla, and four fur babies - Brownie, Shadow, Naomi, and Happy. When he's not at work, James enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, camping, rock climbing, and playing guitar.

She also attended Defense Information School during her time in the military. Kim recently completed her graduate specialty certificate of business and technical writing through
Missouri State University.
Kim's background is in community newspapers, with 30 years in that field, including more than 18 years as owner of the Howell County News in Willow Springs.
She, her daughters and their dog live in Willow Springs. In her free time, Kim enjoys cooking, gardening, writing, photography, and - most of all - spending time with her daughters.
