Plant Manager - CEMO Miller

Larry has been employed with Coastal Energy since 2003. He is currently the Plant Operations Manager at Coastal's Miller, Missouri, asphalt production facility. Larry has extensive experience in asphalt plant management, having worked in the industry since 1985. He graduated from Dora High School in 1977 and then went to work for Koch Materials Company as a Plant Operator in Bettendorf, Iowa, and later as Assistant Manager in their Springfield, Missouri, facility before joining Coastal Energy as Assistant Plant Manager.

​Thoroughly trained in all aspects of plant safety, Larry has over 30 years of experience in the HAZWOPER safety training course. He has also completed Basic Binder Technician Training. 

Larry and his wife, Lea Anne, have four children and four grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids and hunting in his spare time. 

Plant Manager - Willow Springs Rail Facility

Gretchen has been a part of the Coastal Energy team since 2013. She currently serves as Plant Manager at the Willow Springs Rail Facility.

After graduating from Willow Springs High School in 1994, Gretchen attended Missouri State University, completing over 60 hours with a focus on Accounting. Recently, Gretchen completed the necessary courses to receive her Associates Degree of Applied Science with an emphasis in Accounting from Missouri State University - West Plains. 

Prior to joining Coastal Energy, Gretchen worked in the accounting field for more than 14 years, with seven years spent at Air Evac EMS in AP/Aviation Inventory and Payroll. She also worked for American Freight Logistics as a dispatcher and in Accounts Payable. 

Gretchen has performed various functions since joining the team at Coastal Energy. Some these include dispatch, accounting, PeopleNet driver training, environmental compliance, and currently, managing the Willow Springs Rail Facility. 

Gretchen and her husband, Nate, live in Willow Springs. They have two grown children, Bailey and Sydney. When they're not working, Gretchen and Nate enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with their granddaughter, Oakley. 

Plant Manager - Coastal Energy Division of Oklahoma

Kent joined Coastal Energy in 2018 and currently serves as Plant Manager at the Clinton, OK, asphalt facility. Kent was born and raised in Hobart, Oklahoma. He attended Fort Cob Vo Tech for welding, and graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering. Kent is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CmfgT) through SME.

Kent and his wife, Annisa, have been married since 2019, and have a Border Collie, Rosie. Kent spends most of his free time working on project vehicles or visiting various places in his RV with his wife and dog. 

Before joining Coastal-FMC, Kent worked in a diesel repair shop and in welding for various companies. He also worked for Sawatzky construction and Sport Chassis custom semi shop. 

Operations

Scott has been with Coastal Energy since 2000. Scott graduated from Marion C. Early K-12 in 1987 and immediately entered the workforce in the transportation sector. Scott worked for Trux Trailer Repair in Springfield, Missouri, for many years. He worked as a DOT Certified Tank Testing Technician, General Manager and as QC and QA for ASME (Certified with the National Board). 

Scott has extensive training, including 11 years of HAZWOPER Safety Training, 10 years OSHA Construction Certification, and he held ASME Certified Welding and Testing Certificate from 1991 to 2002. Scott has also served on the OTC Advisory Board and is currently serving as President of the Marion C. Early School Board. 

​Scott and his wife, Tammy, have been married for over 30 years. The couple has three children - Hillary and husband Trent, Madison, and Hadden. They also have three grandchildren, Imy, Anglin, and Tate. When he's not working, Scott enjoys hunting, target shooting, ATV riding, and farming.
